Diamond Brand History 

During the reign of Emperor Yongzheng and Emperor Qianlong, the glass workshop was set up by the Home Office in the thirty-fourth year of Kangxi. Under the guidance of the British missionaries, the glass factory was fabricated by imitating the Western law. During the reign of Emperor Yongzheng and Emperor Qianlong, it continued to develop on the basis of Kangxi's glass-making technology. Jiaqing Dynasty was the turning point of glass-making technology. From then on, the glass factory in the building office was in a slump and the history of glass craftsmanship in Qing Dynasty is closely related to the rise and fall of Qing Dynasty, which is the irresistible law of development of official workshops.

Daily glass "Diamond" glass factory was founded in the mid-17th century during the reign of Qianlong, but Emperor Qianlong praised the shining glass as "crystal". The English missionaries soon named the glass "Diamond" because no one in the Qing Palace could speak English, so they gradually called it "Daimon". At the outbreak of World War I, "Diamond" followed the missionaries across the sea to the headquarters of Scotland, a small city full of Humanities and arts, Glasgow, which was once one of the birthplaces of the Renaissance.
